JEDDAH: Following the completion of all necessary aspects of manufacturing furniture and wooden products, Woodroc, one of the largest furniture and wooden products manufacturing companies in the region, has embarked on a new era of progress and development by bolstering its marketing activities in both local and regional markets by the beginning of the new year. Woodroc factory is one of the major industrial projects of Al-Muwakabah Wooden Furniture & Industries Factory Co. headed by Sheikh Mohammed Al-Hussein Al-Amoudi Group of Companies. It has the latest engineering technology in furniture manufacturing and the largest capacity in terms of both production and facilities in the Middle East. The plant has the-state-of-art technology that utilizes the most sophisticated and advanced equipment in furniture and wooden products industry. All equipment is imported from Coimal Italiana - one of the leading specialized global Italian companies in the furniture industry. Its factory covers 40,000 square meters and is located at the fifth phase of Jeddah Industrial City. Sheikh Hassan Hussein Al-Amoudi, chairman and core owner, said he is very proud of such a huge industrial achievement, which is not only considered an achievement for Al-Amoudi Group, but is also a remarkable milestone for the industrial development in Saudi Arabia. A contract has been signed recently for marketing communication and consultation services between Woodroc, represented by Sheikh Abdulrahman Bin Faisal Al-Amoudi, executive director of Woodroc; and Sahalah Marketing Communications Co., represented by Sheikh Khalid Omar Bawazeer, administration manager as part of Woodroc's marketing and promotion activities. The contract signing ceremony was attended also by Dr. Abdullah Ali Bankhar, a Saudi communication expert and marketing consultant. Woodroc is expected to launch a series of marketing and promotional media activities and plans in the local and regional media ahead of its products and services launch in local and regional markets in the upcoming few weeks.
