Once again the Saudi Hankook Racing Team proved itself as the undisputed first team in Saudi drift races, where it recently clinched the title of the 1st round of the second edition of Force Drift Championship, which was held at Take Off track in Jeddah. After a visit to Bin-Shihon Group headquarters in Jeddah, exclusive distributor of Hankook Tires, and meeting Marwan Bin Shihon, president of Bin Shihon Group, they briefed him about the new season and displayed their racing car which will carry Hankook logo in the new season. The team leader demonstrated the team's training program to the new generation that was embraced by the main sponsor. At the conclusion of the visit, Bin Shihon wished them all the best to compete in the championship. With the start of the 1st round, in front of a large audience, Hankook Racing Team proved to be the strongest candidate with a win, following a second spot finish in the qualifying phase. In the official race Saeed Al-Mouri encountered mechanical problems in his car engine, but that didn't stop him from achieving an advanced position, while his teammate Ahmed Orabi achieved a stunning and excellent result that enabled him to race against the talented driver Zakaria Silwan. After presenting an amazing drift that startled the audience, Orabi, who is making a return to the drift scene, started the tandem drifting against Zakaria Silwan. However, Orabi's experience played a vital role in placing the Hankook Racing Team on top. After winning the race, Orabi expressed his delight with this win and thanked team leader Al-Mouri for his instructions. Later at the awarding ceremony, Orabi said: "winning on our land in Jeddah has a different taste. Thank God for this precious achievement. Our long experience and the strong and high performance of Hankook tires "Z222" enabled us to achieve this remarkable result. We do hope to keep up this sensational performance in the coming rounds. — SG
