JEDDAH — Ittihad beat Ohud 77-75 to clinch their semifinal series 2-1 and book a berth in the Saudi Premier Basketball League finals. Ittihad had won the first game in Jeddah and finished the series in Madinah on a high. Ohud was leading by one point 75-74 with 14 seconds on the clock when Ittihad coach Ali Shahani put Emron in the game to take the last shot. With two seconds on the clock he hit a three-pointer to hand Ittihad the game. Ohud ended up in fourth place, while Ittihad advanced to the championship games. Fath in a must-win game defeated Ahli 76-68 to even their best-of-three semis series at one game apiece. Ahli led Fath in all the first three quarters. They were up 61-51 at the end of the third. Fath rallied in the fourth, scoring 23 points to Ahli's 7 to send the series to the decider on its home court. Fath imports Carl Rice (25) and Darrius Rice (28) scored most of the points. Abdullah Taher added 10. Ahli imports Larry Davis (26) and Brandon Brown (20) also remained busy throughout the game. The team that wins the Wednesday's decider will face Ittihad in the finals.
