Published in The Saudi Gazette on 07 - 04 - 2016

RIYADH — President, India Arab Friendship Society, Jaber Patel assured the Indian community in Saudi Arabia that he would use his influence to ensure that a degree college will be established for them in Saudi Arabia. He said it is a very sensitive issue as 2.9 million Indians are living here without any facility of higher education for their children.
He said he would make representation with Indian government.
Jaber Patel said that the erstwhile Nizam government established around 90 Waqf properties in Saudi Arabia and all the successive Indian governments did not take any effective step to take their position. If these properties were used for the Indian pilgrims it will help them a lot and also decrease financial burden on them.
