Thrilling matches in SCC Cup

King Faisal Blues, Lahore Lions and Amer Holidays came out on top in round 2 matches of the SCC Cup 2016 here recently.
In Al-Kharj League, King Faisal Blues beat Falcons by 4 wickets. Electing to bat first, Falcons was restricted to 172. Nadeem hit 39 and Kamran 37. Iftikhar Ali picked up 3 wickets, while Ahmed Aziz and Abdul Malik bagged 2 each. King Faisal Blues won the match in 19.1 overs with Ayaz Shah scoring 57, Waseem Riaz 35 and Nasir Abbasi 21. Saleem and Nadeem scalped 2 wickets each.
Lahore Lions thrashed Riyadh Aces by 84 runs. Lahore Lions posted a formidable 258-6. Muzaffar scored 72, Qamar 58 and Fahad 51. Imran grabbed 2 wickets. Riyadh Aces, in reply, managed 174. Umar and Zohaib notched 54 each. Muzaffar took 2 wickets.
Amer Holidays downed Lahore Badshah by 38 runs. Amer Holidays scored 255-4 thanks mainly to Sami Arshad's 112. Kamran Hadi (56), Shams (27) and Irfan (20) also batted well. Lahore Badshah could score only 217. Imran made 97 and Mudassar 51. Ayaz Mahmoud bagged 4 wickets, while Saeed and Samiullah took 2 each.
Pak Shaheen thumped Sama Steel by 7 wickets. Sama Steel, batting first, scored 174. Asif (42), Hashim (41) and Irshad (37) were among the runs. Ibrar Ul Haq and Abdul Wahab snared 3 wickets each. Pak Shaheen raced to the target in 15.5 overs. Ibrar Ul Haq blasted 113 off 43 balls and Asad added 22.
In Diriyah League, Kashmir XI humbled Detecon Eagles by 70 runs. Kashmir XI posted 207-6. Khurram Chohan scored a quick-fire 102 off 35 balls. Shabbir added 50 and Arif 38. Detecon Eagles managed 137. Khurram picked up 3 wickets.
Delhi Dare Devils beat Sahara Net CC by 39 runs. Dare Devils posted 206 as Anwar scored 59 and Ramzan 35. Rehan picked up 3 wickets and Salman 2. Sahara Net CC managed 167. Atif added 39. Sultan and Ramzan scalped 2 wickets each.
Bannu Eagles shamed Hara United by 8 wickets. Hara United scored 146-8. Wasi claimed 3 wickets, while Arshad and Aziz bagged 2 each. Bannu Eagles won the match in 9.2 overs with Aziz scoring 62, Aksar 48 and Sadaqat 22. Talal picked up 2 wickets.
