Centuries galore in RCA Saudi Orix tournament

RIYADH — A 303-run partnership between Yasser and Imran helped Lahore Badshah thump Shuraim in the RCA Saudi Orix Tournament here. This tournament is organized by Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA) and sponsored by Saudi Orix leasing company.
Al-Kharaj League
A 303-run partnership between Yasser and Imran helped Lahore Badshah humble Shuraim by 7 wickets. Batting first, Shuraim posted 366 for 5 in their quota of 40 overs. Shoaib took 2 wickets. In reply, Lahore Badshah chased the target in 35 overs. Imran and Yasser added 303 runs for the 3rd wicket. Imran smashed an amazing 179 off 108 balls. Yassir scored 135 off 78 balls. Fahad added 22.
KFSH Blues thrashed Riyadh Aces by 148 runs. KFSH Blues was bundled out for 314. Nadeem Babar scored his 203rd century (100). Nasir Abbasi and Khurram added 45 and 39, respectively. Rizwan grabbed 4 wickets, Zohaib 3 and Amir 2. Riyadh Aces was restricted to 166. Sheriyar top scored with 48 and Zohaib added 26. Usman and Malik claimed 3 wickets each, while Jabar picked up 2.
Lahore Lions lost to Pak Shaheen by 2 wickets in a thriller. Lahore Lions put on 329. Waheed picked up 4 wickets as Ateeq and Faisal scalped 2 each. Pak Shaheen reached the target in 39.4 overs for the loss of 8 wickets. Qadir scored an outstanding 108. Wahab blasted a quick-fire 80 and Kamran 49.
T20 Diriyah League
In an exciting encounter, Kingdom Warriors defeated Phoenix by 1 wicket. Phoenix piled up 210 for the loss of 8 wickets. Ammar and Arslan scored 45 and 42, respectively. Adil took 4 wickets. Kingdom Warriors chased down the target for the loss of 9 wickets in 19.2 overs. Wasim (76) and Ammar (43) ensured victory. Ghufran claimed 4 wickets.
Professional Creation lost to Kashmir XI by 41 runs. Kashmir XI posted 183-9. Majid top scored with 50, while Shoukat and Shafat mustered 27 each. Professional Creation was restricted to 142-6. Shoukat pocketed 3 wickets and Khurram 2.
Bannu Eagles downed Nouman Gymkhana by 35 runs. Bannu Eagles scored 184 for 7. Sadaqat smashed 70 and Aksar 31. Imran and Mubashir grabbed 2 wickets each. In reply, Nouman Gymkhana scored 149.
Shumaisi Fighters conceded defeat to Lahore Badshah Green. Shumaisi made 193. Waqas and Wasim bagged 2 wickets each and Akram 3. Lahore Badshah Green was home in 19.1 overs as Afzal played a match-winning knock of 101 off 62 balls. Atif (26) and Mirza (23) were also among the runs. Muzaffar took 2 wickets.
