JEDDAH — The Faculty of Engineering at King Abdulaziz University (KAU) organized a two-day engineering day with the support of several companies, which took part in the event to tap potential candidates for jobs from graduating students.
KAU President Professor Abdulrahman Al-Youbi inaugurated the event on Monday at King Faisal Conference Center.
The events started with a visit to the accompanying exhibition.

He also advised them to take advantage of the professional and practical activities presented by the students in pursuit of their goals and with the aim of creating an engineering pool capable of leading the field with the utmost professional standards.
He thanked the engineering dean, faculty members and students and staff for organizing the function and for their contribution in making it successful. He specifically thanked the basic sponsors and the faculty of engineering partners such as Saudi Aramco and Sabic.
From his part, Dr. Abdulrahim Kinsara, dean of the engineering faculty, presented an overview of the recent achievements of the faculty's male and female students in local and regional contests.
