The Human Rights Commission (HRC) is following-up on the situation of Saudis detained in Iraq, said Dr. Bandar Al-Aiban, Chairman of the HRC, at a meeting of the body in Riyadh on Wednesday. He stressed that this was under the orders of King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, who is concerned about the welfare of all citizens. The HRC discussed the activities of the prisoners and detainees committee tasked with checking on the conditions of Saudi prisoners inside and outside the Kingdom. The HRC members also lauded the government for its budgetary allocations in the coming year to improve the living conditions of Saudis. __
