JEDDAH — Pakistan National Solidarity Forum (PNSF) organized a function in order to express solidarity with the oppressed people of Indian Held Kashmir (IHK) at Lasani Spices restaurant. A large number of people from all walks of life as well as representatives of different political parties, social and cultural forums of Jeddah from Pakistani community attended the function. Mian Abdul Waheed, education minister of Pakistani administrative Kashmir, said the whole Pakistani nation is united on the issue of Kashmir. He expressed his solidarity with the Kashmiris and their families who were killed by Indian forces in last two and half decades. He also paid tribute to the valiant Kashmiris, fighting for their right of self-determination for decades. Moulana Gul Nasib, chief of Jamiat Ullama-i-Islam KPK province of Pakistan, said Muslims are a peace-loving people. We believed that the only solution on the settlements of issue of Kashmir is dialogue. If India wants peace in the subcontinent it must follow the resolutions of United Nation on Kashmir. Dr. Ali Al-Ghamdi said, I consider myself a Pakistani and I am proud to say I'm a Pakistani. He reiterated Pakistan's commitment to a just and peaceful resolution of the Jammu and Kashmir dispute, based on UN resolutions. He said it is the legitimate right of Kashmiris for self-determination. Qari Irshad ul Haque, chairman Jammu and Kashmir community overseas, highlighted the miserable plight of Kashmiris living in the occupied valley and widespread human rights violations committed by the Indian troops under the Armed Forces Special Powers Acts. He lamented that the black night of oppression may be long but a day will come when the bright sun will appear and that day is not far from Kashmiri people. Renowned poet Mohsin Alvi and Qari Sultan Islam presented national poems of Kashmir. Syed Riaz Hussain Bukhari, convener PNSF, conducted the event. He thanked guests, Majid Awan, consul passport at Consulate General of Pakistan, participants and the organizers Furrukh Rasheed (PTI), Mohammed Zulfiqar (JI), Mohammed Riaz Ghumman (PML-Q), Tahir bhai, Moulana Abdul Razzak Wasu (JUI) and others.
