Saudi, 6 expats held for making liquor BURAIDAH — Police have arrested seven men for manufacturing illicit liquor and sheltering illegal expatriates. Qassim Police spokesman Capt. Badr Al-Suhaibani said officers arrested one Saudi man and six Asian expatriates in Al-Bikairiyah governorate. The men had leased a resort using fake IDs and were manufacturing liquor to sell. They also sheltered illegal expatriates at the resort. Police found 30,000 liters of liquor and manufacturing equipment, which they seized. The case was handed over to the Bureau of Investigation and Public Prosecution. Fire breaks out at industrial waste dump JUBAIL — An industrial waste dump in Jubail caught fire Saturday evening. Jubail Establishments Security Forces spokesman Lt. Gen. Khalid Al-Zahrani said the fire broke out in an area where industrial waste was dumped. The area is located outside one of Kayan Petrochemical Company's main laboratories. The fire was immediately extinguished and there were no injuries recorded.
