SAKAKA — Two young men were killed while another two sustained severe injuries after the driver of the vehicle they were in lost control and crashed into a light pole near Sakaka, in Al-Jouf province, said Saudi Red Crescent spokesman Hamdan Al-Dhwaihi. Eyewitnesses said the car was traveling at a high speed when it careened off the road and hit the light pole. When paramedics and Civil Defense rescuers arrived at the scene, they found two of the passengers dead. One of the injured was trapped in the wreckage but was extricated and transported to hospital. Meanwhile, a couple and their young daughter burned to death inside their car after hitting a truck on the a highway leading to Hail, said Red Crescent spokesman Muhammad Al-Tayar. The truck driver was seriously injured. The cause of the accident has not been determined yet.
