Shell Saudi Arabia has participated in the recently held Saudi International Motor Show 2015 at the International Center for Exhibitions and Conventions in Jeddah.
The show brought together an outstanding collection of car dealerships that showcased their latest models, and attracted more than 80,000 visitors – predominantly car fans and enthusiasts.
On its stand at the show, Shell Lubricants displayed a complete line-up of its products, including the remarkable motor oil Shell Helix Ultra, with its unique PurePlus technology, which is marketed to customers in Saudi Arabia exclusively by Shell Saudi. Shell also took advantage of the show to introduce its newly launched ‘Fast Lube' service, which offers advanced and premium services and engine oil change through a network of new service centers.
The Shell Helix stand at the show gave visitors an opportunity to register for its promotional competition, which was launched two months ago and enjoyed participation levels that exceeded all expectations. The Grand Prize for each draw is a Chevrolet Camaro 2015 model.
At the event, Firas Wehbe, Shell Saudi Marketing Manager – B2B Industrial and FWS, said: "The Saudi International Motor Show has achieved tangible results thanks to the large visitor turnout. The show has given us an outstanding platform to introduce our product lines, including our unique engine oil Shell Helix. The show also helps us stay in touch with our existing customers and make contact with potential new ones."
Wehbe stressed that the event is the largest motor show in Saudi Arabia, and represents a great opportunity for national and international companies to review the latest market trends and services within their fields, thereby contributing to the progress and development of the sector.
He further explained that Shell's presence at the show emphasized its marketing strategy of participation in high-class trade shows to promote its latest and most advanced products, such as Shell Helix, which reflect the evolution of its product design and technology. He added: "We have strategic partnerships with most of our dealers, and we build strong relationships with our customers. That's why our interaction with the public at the show has been of great importance to us, as we seek to demonstrate the unique features of Shell Helix, with PurePlus technology, and its ability to protect car engines while ensuring optimum performance, even in extreme operating conditions."
Wehbe asserted that Shell lubricants provide the highest performance to engines, making it the number one choice for customers in the Saudi market.
At the end of the show, the names of Shell promotion winners announced, with Mohammed bin Ali Ashqar winning the Grand Prize draw for a Chevrolet Camaro 2015.
