In the framework of the cooperation and integration process between the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and the Saudi Authority for Accredited Valuers ( Taqeem), Dr Fahd Abou Hemad, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry for Rules and Regulations Affairs, and chairman of the Register Committee of Accredited Valuers, declared that the agreed to grant the license to 35 facilities to practice the valuation profession. He added that the licenses were granted when all the registration conditions and requirements were completed for getting the facility license. "We are working on the issuance of the next licenses to the facilities which requested the licenses to practice the valuation profession, provided all the acceptance requirements and fulfilled all the required conditions," he said. He expected that the number of people who will get the licenses will cover 80 facilities by the end of this year. The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry for rules and regulations affairs stressed that the Ministry keeps working with the Saudi Authority for Accredited Valuers on the implementation of the strategy, which was approved by the Board of Directors in order to develop the valuation profession in the Kingdom, and to improve the employees' performance.
