Ministry of Commerce and Industry calls on foreign investors in industrial sector to obtain licenses

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has called on foreign investors in the industrial sector in the Kingdom to obtain the necessary licenses that entitle them to exercise their activities so as not to be subject to stop the services of their facilities.
The Ministry stressed the importance of licensing requirements and getting a valid license from the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority so as to be allowed to practice any industrial activity.
The Ministry announced the issuance of 163 industrial licenses for foreign investors over the past six months, indicating that the licenses included several activities of the most important petrochemical, automotive, metal and pharmaceutical industries.
The Ministry of Commerce and Industry announced earlier the mandatory issuance of industrial licenses for foreign investors starting from 01/07/1436 AH.
