Mehran, Evergreen, Jamiaa, Telengana Warriors, Gujranwala, Shaheen, Diamond, United and Cricketers score exciting wins in RCL Mumtaz T20 Champions Trophy here.
The tournament is organized by Riyadh Cricket League (RCL) and sponsored by Mumtaz Group at RCL Complex.
Mehran punished National by 10 wickets. Batting first, National made 96. Sufiyan was the top scorer with 21 as Salman added 18. Usman took 4 wickets and Jehanzeb 3. Mehran made short work of the total and reached the target without losing a wicket. Usman remained unbeaten on 59 and Rehan on 33. Man of the Match: Usman.
Gujranwala defeated Gamepro by 7 wickets. Gamepro managed 94 with only Madhu scoring 25. Kamran and Abid took 3 wickets each. Gujranwala was home for the loss of 3 wickets. Kamran top scored with 57. Prashant bagged a wicket. Man of the match: Kamran.
Shaheen got the better of Riyadh Blues by 36 runs. Shaheen posted 226 thanks to a wonderful knock of 90 by Khawar. Naveed added 55. Shakeel, Mir Hafez and Fayyaz took 2 wickets each. Riyadh Blues started briskly with Zahiruddin (77) Khalid and Shakeel (26). But Shaheen fought back gallantly to win the game. Farooq took 4 wickets and Naveed 1. Man of the Match: Khawar
Telegana Warriors thumped Mughal by 9 wickets. Mughal scored 185 with Zahid making 63 and Badjwa 40. Rafay and Rafee took two wickets each. Warriors chased the total for the loss of one wicket. Waseem scored with 84 and Taher 37. Sajjad took the lone wicket to fall. Man of the Match: Waseem.
Jamiaa downed Woodbridge by 7 wickets. Woodbridge put on 131. Shakeel hit 32 and Muzammil 21. Mushtaq claimed 4 wickets and Tazgheer 3. Jamiaa was home for the loss of three wickets thanks to Ejaz's 59 and Javed's 46. Kifayat took 2 wickets. Man of the Match: Mushtaq.
Evergreen Sixers humbled Royal Fighters by 7 wickets. Royal Fighters made 195 with Qaiser scoring 59 and Nayaz 49. Jamshed bagged 2 wickets and Khawar one. Evergreen reached the total thanks to Sajid's 64 and Khawar's 57. Qaiser claimed 1 wicket. Man of the Match: Khawar.
Diamond got the better of Maestro by 42 runs. Diamond made 224. Taib Afzal scored 96 and Hyder 50. Imran scalped 2 wickets. Maesto fell short by 42 in its chase. Riyaz scored 49 and Ashfaq 35. Amjad took 3 wickets and Prashant 2. Man of the Match: Taib Afzal.
United X1 thrashed Chanar by 6 wickets. Chanar scored 149 as Umar scored 31 and Faraz 21. Amjad and Saif took two wickets each. United was home for the loss of four wickets. Azhar scored 44 and Anwar 36. Feroz took 2 wickets. Man of the Match: Azhar. — SG
