Ishaq ton lights up RCA Saudi Orix tourney

RIYADH — KFSH Blues, Fonte Stars and Pak Shaheen came out on top in their respective round four RCA Saudi Orix Tournament matches here.
Al-Kharaj League
KFSH Blues beat Amir Holidays in their 40-over thriller. Batting first, KFSH Blues posted 243. Nadeem Babar played a gem of an innings (70). Khurram and Ayaz added 48 and 43, respectively. Saeed pocketed 4 wickets, Shahbaz 3 and Samiullah 2. Amir Holidays was restricted to 213. Samiullah top scored with 53, Zahid hit 47 and Saeed 37. Imtiaz claimed 4 wickets and Iftikhar 3.
Fonte Stars recorded a thumping victory over debutant Riyadh Aces. Riyadh Aces was bowled out for 103. Rizwan showed some resistance with 35. Yasir was the pick of the bowlers as he claimed 4 wickets and Ghulam took 2. Fonte Stars rushed to the target in 10.3 overs. Bilal Wani smashed an unbeaten 53 and Waseem 33.
Sama Steel lost to Pak Shaheen. Sama Steel was bundled out for 208. Ateeq and Faisal claimed 3 wickets each while Dawood took 2. Pak Shaheen reached the target in 18.5 overs. Ishaq smashed a brilliant 101 off 50 balls. Waheed added 73.
Diriyah League T20
Insaf thrashed Professional Creation by 58 runs. Insaf piled up 171. Nadeem notched 65 and Zeeshan 22. In reply, Professional Creation was restricted to 113. Imran pocketed 5 wickets and Ali 2.
Bannu Eagles crushed Brothers XI by 181 runs. Bannu Eagles put on 246-6. Aksar produced an outstanding 101, Ruman 56 and Waqas 33. Hasnain took 3 wickets. Brothers XI was restricted to 65 in 11.4 overs. Ather top scored with 19. Anwar and Wasi took 2 wickets each.
Youngsters downed Phoenix by 79 runs. Youngsters collected 203 in 20 overs. Fawad played a sparkling innings of 89. Abdul Rehman scored 43 and Zahid 33 runs. Phoenix was bowled out for 124. Malik took 3 wickets.
Abana lost to Kashmir XI by 7 wickets. Abana scored 162 for 7. Waseem and Showkat claimed 2 wickets each. Kashmir XI won the match in 16.1 overs. Arif's 77 laid a solid base while Showkat and Shafat ensured the victory with 35 and 25, respectively.
Lahore Badshah Green defeated Sahara Net by 102 runs. Lahore Badshah Green racked up 236 for 4. Sahib (54) and Mirza (51) smashed fifties. Shani added 41 and Afzal 35. Sahara Net scrambled to 134. Rehan top scored with 23. Atif and Ayub shared 2 wickets each.
