MacKenzie had only one previous two-goal game in his NHL career, on March 12, 2011, when he was playing for the Columbus Blue Jackets against the Carolina Hurricanes. Predators 5, Coyotes 2: Taking advantage of loose play by Arizona defensemen, the Nashville Predators rallied with four third-period goals for a 5-2 win over the Coyotes at Bridgestone Arena.
