Malik hits ton in SPL Twenty20

JEDDAH — MB Stars beat the Hyderabad Sharks in a nail-biting one-run win in the 11th week of the Ace-Initial Saudi Premier League T20 Tournament here.
ALS Warriors beat ARM United by 2 wickets. After electing to bat first, ARM United was bowled out for 152 in 19.5 overs. Nazeer and Ashraf scored 37 runs each. Aleem took 3-19, while Amjad Jatt and Hyder took 2 wickets each. ALS Warriors reached the target in 19 overs for the loss of 8 wickets. Amjad Jatt scored 40 and Mohammed Amjad 33. Mansoor and Zeeshan took 2 wickets each for 37 and 35, respectively.
Saudi Oil Company beat ICAD by 95 runs. Saudi Oil Company posted 226-6. Salman Malik scored 115 off 54 balls. Shakeel took 4 wickets for 44. ICAD was bowled out for 131 in 18.3 overs. Naseer scored 33 and Munawwar 35. Ayaz and Mustafa took 3 wickets each, while Waqas and Salman Malik took 2 each.
MB Stars scored the thrilling win over Hyderabad Sharks. MB Stars, electing to bat first, scored 217 for 9. Arbab hit 48, while Husnain and Ateeq Mansha added 38 each. Riyaz took 3-50 and Arif Hashmy 2-43. Hyderabad Sharks was unlucky to lose the match by a run. Mohammed batted brilliantly to score 73 in 33 balls and Zafar 43. Ateeq Mansha took 4-43.
Pak Green won by 5 wickets against Saudi German Hospital. Saudi German Hospital put on 153-8. Taqi blasted 27 and Ali 34 not out. Asim took 3-27, while Noman and Adnan took 2 each. Pak Green reached the target in 16.3 overs for the loss of 5 wickets. Malik Shan made 40, Qamar Javed 35 and Adnan Yasir 31 not out. Waqas took 3-36 and Taqi Ur Rehman 2-26.
ACE Travel beat My Care Blazers by 50 runs. ACE Travel, betting first, scored 195-9. Moazzam Shoukat hit 44, Shahzad 36 and Parvez Khan 33 not out. Shad Mohammed took 3-35, while Asghar and Riyaz Afridi took 2 each. My Care Blazers was bowled out for 145 in 18.4 overs. Azam notched 43 and Shad Mohammed 32. For ACE Travel Moazzam Shoukat took 4-31, while Faheem Pasha and Abdul Wahed took 2 each.
MCH Premier downed Pepsi Deccan Knights by 6 wickets. Pepsi Deccan Knights scored 201 for 8. Abdul Quddus scored 70 off 35 balls and Ayaz 32. Adnan Liaqat took 4-35. MCH Premier lost 3 quick wickets but was taken home by Baber Hussain (79) and Imran (52 not out), who were involved in a good 4th wicket partnership of 98. Hyder and Ishaq Baghdadi took 2 wickets each.
The star attraction this week were the chief guest Mohammad Rafeeq, chairman of Mumtaz Group of Hotels, Mumtaz Sports Academy Riyadh, advisor Riyadh Cricket League, and Syed Moazam Ali, chairman Al-Wafaq Group of Companies Riyadh.
