MB Stars, SGH, ALS and Pak Green win

JEDDAH — MB Stars, Saudi German Hospital, ALS Warriors and Pak Green scored resounding wins in the 7th week of the Ace & Initial Saudi Premier League.
MB Stars had the better of Kashmir Stags by 55 runs, Saudi German Hospital (SGH) made short work of My Care Blazers by 6 wickets, ALS Warriors routed Saudi Oil by 52 runs and Pak Green surprised ARM United by 7 wickets.
In other matches, Ace Travel and MCH Premier coasted to easy wins over Hyderabad Sharks and ICAD by 154 runs and 8 wickets, respectively.
The SPL T20 event is sponsored jointly by Ace Travel & Tours and Initial Services and co-sponsored by ALS Borderless Logistics, Jotun Saudi Arabian, Khind Electronics, Mizo Juices (Arrow Food Distribution), SIPCO (Pepsi) and UT Lines.
Pak Green trounced ARM United by 7 wickets. After losing its first 3 and then making a good comeback by winning the next 3 matches, ARM United couldn't continue the momentum against Pak Green as it could score only 156-8. Sami top scored with 59, while Shiraz and Nazeer contributed 25 and 22, respectively. Rizwan took 3-24 and Amir 2-9. In reply, Pak Green reached 157 in 15.3 overs losing only 3 wickets. Amir Walah remained not out on 100 with 10 sixes and 4 fours. Arsalan took 2-27. Man of the Match: Amir Wahla.
ALS Warriors routed Saudi Oil by 52 runs.
ALS Warriors scored 205-6 as Talha scored 76 in 40 balls (6 sixes, 4 fours), Ramzan 72 off 50 balls (3 sixes & 5 fours) and Shahbaz 26. Ashiq claimed 3-40. Saudi Oil, in reply, was bowled out for 154. Ali Waris scored 50 in 28 balls. Sulaiman took 4-27. Man of the Match: Talha.
MCH Premier thrashed ICAD by 8 wickets. ICAD was bundled out for 165 in 20 overs. Shakeel scored 71 in 43 balls (2 sixes, 10 fours) and Waqar 37. Shahbaz took 4-30 and Adnan Liaqat 3-22. MCH Premier continued its unbeaten run to reach 166-2 in 14.2 overs. Qamar scored 50, while Naeem and Shahbaz remained unbeaten on 52 and 35, respectively. Azeem took 2-32. Man of the Match: Shahbaz Rasheed.
Saudi German Hospital trounced My Care Blazers by 6 wickets. My Care Blazers was all out for 141 with Rizwan top scoring with 31. Shad and Riaz Afridi contributed 25 and 21, respectively. Irfan, Taqi and Huzaifa took 3 wickets each giving away 38, 19 and 16 runs, respectively. In reply, Saudi German Hospital reached 142-4 in 16.2 overs. Izhar (43), Waqas (32), Taqi (22) and Omar (32 not out) were among the runs. Faisal and Shad took 2 wickets each. Man of the Match: Taqi.
MB Stars beat Kashmir Stags by 55 runs. MB Stars put on an imposing 226-6. Moazzam hit a superb 76 in 39 balls, while Ateeq Mansha and Husnain scored 63 and 41, respectively. Zubair and Majid took 2 wickets each. In reply, Kashmir Stags replied with 171-5. Khursheed scored 72 and Naeem 31. Ateeq took 3-30. Man of the Match: Ateeq Mansha.
Ace crushed Hyderabad Sharks by 154 runs. Ace Travel amassed 249-7 through Moazzam (42), Parvez (30), Sami (34), Rashid (49 n.o.) and Mumrez (46 n.o.). Parvez took 2-30. In reply, Hyderabad Sharks were bundled out for 95 with only skipper Arif scoring 30 off 19 balls. Ifteqar and Sami took 3 wickets. Spinner Faheem Pasha claimed 2-15. Man of the Match: Sami Khan.
