Illegal kiosks dismantled

Maabadah branch municipality in Makkah has dismantled 75 kiosks constructed by illegal expatriates on Jabal Al-Noor (the Mountain of Light) to sell various goods consisting of food, soft drinks and wood works. During the campaign, the municipality has also confiscated cartons of soft drinks, health water, wooden beds, prayer rugs and other material. Jabal Al-Noor, on top of which sits Cave Hira where the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) received the first revelation, attracts a large number of visitors during the Haj and Umrah seasons. — SG photo by Badea Abu Al-Naja
