JEDDAH — Saudi Oil scored a massive 135-run win over Kashmir Stags, while Saudi German Hospital beat Hyderabad Sharks by 124 runs to keep its hopes alive in the 10th week matches of the Ace & Initial Saudi Premier League (SPL) T20 Tournament.
This event is jointly sponsored by Ace Travel & Tours and Initial Service Group and co-sponsored by ALS Borderless Logistics, Jotun Saudi Arabia, Khind Electronics, Mizo Juices (Arrow Foods), Sipco (Pepsi) and UT Lines.
Electing to bat first, MB Stars scored 164 for 7. Ateeq Mansha hit 59 as Sami Khan took 2-26. ARM United reached the target for the loss of 4 wickets in 14.5 overs. Nazeer scored 87 and Ather Ali remained unbeaten on 24. Zia Anwar took 2-27. Man of the Match — Nazeer Ahmed.
Saudi Oil Company put on 238 for 7. Mohammad Sulaiman was unlucky to miss out on his second century. He scored 99 off 45 balls and Ayaz remained unbeaten on 75 off 41 balls. Zubair, Danish and Naveed took 2 wickets each for 58, 28 and 40, respectively. Kashmir Stags was bowled out for 103 to give Saudi Oil a massive 135-run win. Waqas took 3-19 and Mustafa 2-33. My Care Blazers, opting to bat first, scored 185 for 7. Fahad hit 77 and Adnan Khan 46. Adnan and Baber took 2 wickets each for 35 and 19, respectively. MCH Premier reached the target in 15.3 overs for the loss of 2 wickets. Qamar Awan remained not out on 103 in 46 balls and Kashif Shafiq scored 41. Man of the Match — Qamar Awan.
Pepsi Deccan Knights was bowled out for 138 in 18.4 overs. Wajid Samdani fought a lone battle with 62 in 40 balls. Sami Khan took 3-20, while Faheem Pasha and Abdul Wahed took 2 each. In reply, ACE Travel reached the target of 139 for 6 in 14.1 overs, to win by 4 wickets. Abdul Wahed scored 31 and Maqsood remained unbeaten on 47. Hyder, Ishaq and Abdul Quddus took 2 wickets each. ICAD was bowled out for 107 in 17.5 overs after taking the strike first. Shakeel scored 26. Adnan took 4-28 and Kamran 2-8. Pak Green reached the target for the loss of 2 wickets in 9.5 overs to win by 8 wickets. Aamir Walah scored 58 and Shan Malik 34 not out. Man of the Match — Adnan.
Saudi German Hospital scored 218-7 with Omar making 54, Asad Maaz 48 and Izhar 31. Mohammed Hasan and Tanveer took 2 wickets each. Hyderabad Sharks was bowled out for 94 in 11 overs as Omar ran through its batting lineup taking 5-20. Man of the Match — Omar.
In the morning session, ALS Warriors was bowled out for a paltry score of 117 in 16.4 overs. Amjad Jatt hit 32. Imran took 4-27 and Shahbaz 3-17. My Care Hala Premier was home in 12.2 overs for the loss of 2 wickets to come out on top by 8 wickets. Qamar Awan scored 70. Man of the Match — Imran.
