Haya Khurshid (2nd right), an alumnus of International Indian School, Riyadh, was recently felicitated at a function in the capital for being a topper in this year's CBSE examination for class XII (commerce stream). Hemant Kotalwar, deputy chief of mission in the Indian Embassy, presented a gold medal to her for securing 93 percent marks. Haya Khurshid is the proud daughter of Khurshid Anwar, who holds a senior position in a Riyadh company. He is also founding member of Jamia Millia Islamia Alumni Association (Riyadh chapter) and had been its president twice. Dr. Shaukat Pervez, IIRS principal and school's other staff members also congratulated Ms. Haya. Currently, she is doing her graduation in accounting and finance from Heriot-Watt University, Dubai.
