The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) has launched on its official website a special page in Turkish on the G-20 summit. The SPA would be disseminating news in Turkish on this page about the G20 summit that is being hosted by Turkey in Antalya from Nov. 15–16. The page comprises a number of news stories and reports covering the participation of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman in the summit deliberations. It also covers the activities on the sidelines of the summit in Turkish language, apart from the usual transmission in Arabic in order to keep the reader well-informed. This step has come in line with the directives of Dr. Adel Al-Turaifi, minister of culture and information and chairman of the board of directors of SPA. The aim is to convey the Kingdom's message to the world by transmitting news in different languages including English, French and Persian (Farsi). The news agency had created a special page for the fourth summit for Arab and South American countries that was held early this month in Riyadh on Nov. 10-11. During this period, it transmitted the deliberations of the summit in Arabic and English. The first G20 summit began its meeting in Washington with the participation of the late King Abdullah. In 2009, Excel Center in London held the G20 summit meeting. In 2010, the G20 summit was held in Toronto, Canada, with the participation of the late King Abdullah. In 2012, the summit was held in Mexico and the Kingdom's delegation was led by Finance Minister Dr. Ibrahim Al-Assaf. In 2013, Al-Assaf headed the Kingdom's delegation to the summit held in Russia. In 2014, the summit as held in Australia with the participation of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, who then was the Crown Prince. — SPA
