Mumtaz Sports Academy will sponsor the Riyadh Cricket League (RCL) T20 Cup and the event will be known as Mumtaz Champions Trophy. The CEO of Mumtaz Group of Companies, Mohammad Rafeeq, made the announcement at the opening ceremony of the tournament at RCL grounds here recently. Jawaid Munawar, CEO of RCL, received the sponsorship check from Rafeeq and thanked Mumtaz Sports Academy for sponsoring the event. Mumtaz Group of Companies runs a hotel chain and a Trading Establishment for food and oil products in Saudi Arabia. In all 32 teams will take part in the tournament. The teams have been divided into two groups — Super Division and Premier Division. Super Division Group A: Mehran Cricket Club, Game Pro, National, Riyadh Blues, Gujranwala, Shaheen XI. Group B: Pakhtunkhwa, Royal Fighters, Ever Green 6ers, Talangana Warriors, Mughal, Premier I final winner. Premier Division Group A: Cricketers, Fakhr-e-Afghan, South Indians Stunnerz, Pure Health, Kashmir. Group B: Konkan Green, Khalili Stars, Pak, Eleven Stars, Riyadh Pirates. Group C: Diamond II, United XI, Chanar XI, Saco, Premier I runner-up. Group D: Jamiaa, Diamond I, Meastro, Deccan Knights Glory, Wood Bridge. — SG
