Senators top Canadiens
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 05 - 11 - 2015

Kyle Turris scored 34 seconds into overtime, lifting the Ottawa Senators to a 2-1 win over the Montreal Canadiens in the NHL at the Bell Centre.
A Montreal chance in the Ottawa zone turned into a three-on-one the other way, with Mike Hoffman feeding Turris, who roofed it over Canadiens goaltender Mike Condon.
Rangers 5, Capitals 2: Goaltender Henrik Lundqvist made 32 saves as the New York Rangers defeated the Washington Capitals 5-2 at Madison Square Garden in a rematch of last season's conference semi-finals.
Five Rangers scored goals - Kevin Klein, Oscar Lindberg, Kevin Hayes, Derick Brassard and Jarret Stoll, who notched his first as a Ranger midway through the third period.
Islanders 2, Devils 1: Casey Cizikas' tie-breaking goal with 2:12 left led the New York Islanders to a 2-1 win over the New Jersey Devils at Barclays Center.
Goaltender Jaroslav Halak made 22 saves and Brock Nelson also scored for the Islanders (7-3-3), who snapped a three-game winless streak.
Goaltender Cory Schneider made 32 saves and Travis Zajac scored for the Devils (6-5-1).
Stars 5, Bruins 3: Dallas center Tyler Seguin came back to haunt his old team on Tuesday.
Sent to Dallas in July 2013 after three years in Boston, Seguin posted the seventh hat-trick of his career to power the Stars to a 5-3 victory over the Bruins.
Seguin, booed every time he touched the puck or had his name announced, even though he left via trade and not free agency, scored two of Dallas' three power-play goals as the Stars improved to 10-3-0 (5-2-0 on the road) and snapped the Bruins' four-game winning streak.
Red Wings 2, Lightning 1: Dylan Larkin's goal early in the third period broke a tie and gave the Detroit Red Wings a 2-1 win against the Tampa Bay Lightning at Joe Louis Arena.
Riley Sheahan also scored for Detroit while goaltender Jimmy Howard made 29 saves. Nikita Kucherov scored for Tampa Bay and goalie Ben Bishop made 27 saves.
Kings 3, Blues 0: Jeff Carter scored on a second-period power play and backup goalie Jhonas Enroth recorded the shutout for the Los Angeles Kings in a 3-0 win over the St. Louis Blues.
The Kings, who had a seven-game winning streak snapped Monday in Chicago, handed the Blues their first regulation loss at home this season and ended St. Louis' three-game winning streak.
Oilers 4, Flyers 2: Matt Hendricks and Taylor Hall scored third-period goals to lead the Edmonton Oilers to a third-period comeback win over the Philadelphia Flyers at Rexall Place.
Other results: Avalanche 6, Flames 3; Blue Jackets 5, Sharks 2.
