Saudi Build 2015 well-received by keen industry professionals

Saudi Build 2015, the 27th International Construction Technology and Building Materials Exhibition being held under the patronage of Eng. Abdullatif Bin Abdullmalek Al AlShaikh, Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs, provides contractors, real estate developers and building owners with a full range of building solutions. It is the largest business-to-business construction trade show in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Arabia stands out as one of the most important markets in the Middle East, regarding business activities in general and the building sector in particular. Thanks to stable oil revenues, extensive construction projects have been initiated and are bound to go on for the next decade.
The population is expected to double over the next 20 years. At the same time, the standard of living increases. Thus, there is a huge need for all kinds of modern construction products, equipment and solutions.
The four-day event which runs until today (Oct. 29) under the theme ‘Capture the Kingdom's Leading Construction Opportunities' draws big audience and achieves significant corporate deals amid favorable economic outlook.
Saudi Build 2015 presents the most innovative and comprehensive set of solutions from around the world for the local and the regional construction industry. The event plays a lead role in the transfer of technology and knowledge between the KSA and its trading partners as well as offer a platform for launching innovative products and services, live demonstrations, and customer engagement activities.
In addition, it provides valuable opportunities to network with international manufacturers and suppliers and explore potential partnership and investment prospects.
Spread over 15,000 sqm of indoor air-conditioned halls, 4,000 sqm temporary built structure and 5,000 sqm of open-air exhibition space, Saudi Build 2015 throws the spotlight on leading building products and cutting-edge technologies.
Approved by UFI, the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, it highlights swimming pools and accessories, timber frames, water and heat installations, and wood products, among others.
One among those having visible presence in the trade fair is the German delegation who has a strong backing from the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi), the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry (AUMA) and the supporting associations - the German Near and Middle East Business Association (NUMOV) and the Association of Steel and Metal processing Industry (WSM).
An official spokesperson from Riyadh Exhibitions Company (REC), the leading event organizer in the Middle East with over 450 shows in the last 33 years, and has attracted international participation from over 40 countries, said: "The ongoing infrastructure development will continue to drive the KSA's construction sector for the next few years.
The opening of the 27th edition of Saudi Build was well-received by industry professionals who are present in huge numbers to be acquainted with the hottest trends.
