Saudi Build 2015, the 27th International Construction Technology and Building Materials Exhibition being held under the patronage of Eng. Abdullatif Bin Abdullmalek Al AlShaikh, Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs, provides contractors, real estate developers and building owners with a full range of building solutions. It is the largest business-to-business construction trade show in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia stands out as one of the most important markets in the Middle East, regarding business activities in general and the building sector in particular. Thanks to stable oil revenues, extensive construction projects have been initiated and are bound to go on for the next decade. The population is expected to double over the next 20 years. Spread over 15,000 sqm of indoor air-conditioned halls, 4,000 sqm temporary built structure and 5,000 sqm of open-air exhibition space, Saudi Build 2015 throws the spotlight on leading building products and cutting-edge technologies. Approved by UFI, the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, it highlights swimming pools and accessories, timber frames, water and heat installations, and wood products, among others. One among those having visible presence in the trade fair is the German delegation who has a strong backing from the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi), the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry (AUMA) and the supporting associations - the German Near and Middle East Business Association (NUMOV) and the Association of Steel and Metal processing Industry (WSM).
