Published in The Saudi Gazette on 03 - 01 - 2013

Huawei Enterprise, a leading global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider, Wednesday hosted its first annual Channel Partner Summit in Saudi Arabia. Huawei Day Saudi Arabia 2013 brought together 150 of its most trusted Channel partners in the Kingdom to discuss Huawei's channel strategy for 2013, Huawei's latest products and new cooperation opportunities.
One of Huawei's main focuses for 2013 is growth in Saudi Arabia by driving further adoption and optimization of cloud data center solutions and ‘Pacific Ocean' network pipe catering to the rapid growing requirements for vitalization and bandwidth. Partners attending the event had the opportunity to review with Huawei various business strategies designed to better meet the demands of the fast paced ICT industry of the Kingdom.
James Wu, CEO of Huawei KSA, welcomed all attendees at the beginning and gave a strong message: “The way to bring Huawei success in Enterprise is to work together with partners. We are willing and more than happy to work with our partners to build a better future through a better way.”
Mohammed Al-Mandeel, CEO of Synoptic, a long standing Riyadh based Huawei channel partner, said “at Synoptic we specialize in providing tailored unified communication solutions to our customers. Having Huawei as our partner allows us to provide end-users with innovative ICT products that can help their businesses grow. We look forward to our continued partnership with Huawei in the year ahead and hope to attend similar constructive events in the future. ”
Firas Al Ghanem, KSA Channel Director, Huawei Enterprise, said: “Huawei Day Saudi Arabia 2013 was an opportunity for us to connect with our channel partners in the region and align our strategies for the upcoming year. Huawei is committed to its channel partner program in the region and especially in Saudi Arabia, as they are the driving force for our business growth. We were pleased with the success of today's event and look forward to our continued growth of our Channel Program in 2013.”
The Huawei Enterprise Business Strategy was launched in early 2011, and Huawei has since invested heavily in the development of its Channel Partner Program, which is an integral part of the company's growth strategy in the Middle East. – SG
