RIYADH — Round four of the American Express T20 Tournament, organized by Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA), witnessed entertaining encounters in Riyadh recently.
Huraymala League
Hyderabadi Warriors registered a thumping 210-run victory over Kohsar. The Warriors scored the highest total in RCA — 361-4. Maqbool Jeelani played an innings of his life, scoring 207 off 65 balls (11 sixes and 33 fours). Mubashir batted well for his 72. Aijaz took 2 wickets. Kohsar managed only 151. Saqib top scored with 65. Majid took 3 wickets.
Pak Force defeated L'usine by 144 runs. Pak Force posted 189 with Mani hitting 52. Haris Quddus bowled brilliantly picking up 4 wickets, including a hat trick. L'usine fumbled to the lowest total of the day — 55. Asif bowled a furious spell of fast bowling and picked up 5 wickets. Zafar top scored with 20.
Yousafzai won a thriller against Riyadh Fighters by 6 runs. Yousafzai scored 180. Yasir took 3 and Majid 2. In reply, Riyadh Fighter fell short by just 6 runs. Omer top scored with 60 and Imran 34.
Fonte Stars out-played Saudi Jaguars by 8 wickets. Saudi Jaguars collected 190-7. Rao, Waleed and Raheel scored 47, 40 and 35, respectively. Qasim and Ayaz took 2 wickets each. Fonte was home in the 18th over. Waseem Jutt hit 135 not out off 60 balls. Faisal took 2 wickets.
AKCC lost to Stallions. AKCC posted 172. Kamal and Kamran scored 37 and 36, respectively. Ashfaq, Adnan and Junaid took 2 wickets each. Stallions reached the target in the 17th over. Adnan (90) and Ashfaq (39) played a vital role in the win.
Cricket Samarwa downed Insaf by 28 runs. Cricket Samarwa put on 243-7. Zafar (81) and Abu Baker (64) smashed fifties. Imran and Zeeshan took 2 wickets each. Insaf could manage only 215. Sadam hit 50 and Adnan 49. Tasaduq and Husnain took 2 wickets each.
Riyadh Warriors defeated KFSH Green by 5 wickets. KFSH Green made 161 with Kamran (37) and Amir (30) among the runs. Shakeel and Premnawaz took 2 wickets each. Riyadh Warriors won the match in 15th over. Asif (71) and Majid (50) ensured the victory.
Diriyah League
Challengers-XI defeated Professional Creation by 5 wickets. Professional scored 157 for 7. Fenil hit 45 not out. Ansar took 3 wickets. Challengers was home in the 17th over. Sony and Viral hit 51 and 38, respectively. Fenil took 2 wickets.
AKCC Blues scored a comfortable win over Habib Telecom. Habib Telecom scored a below par 135-9. Ali took 3 wickets, while Usman, Faisal and Mohsin bagged 2 each. AKCC Blues marched to victory with ease in the 15th over. Faisal (46) and Tanveer (42) batted well.
In other matches: Dehli Daredevils lost to Rising Stars, ULCC humbled Youngsters-XI and Saham downed Al-Momen School.
