Ahsa apparently from a self-inflicted gunshot wound in the head, the Eastern Province police spokesman told 3alyoum. A machine-gun was found next to his body, the spokesman said. The body was taken to hospital for postmortem. The case will be referred to the Bureau of Investigation and Public Prosecution (BIP). The spokesman denied that the security man was shot by an unidentified person. He said that at 2.30 p.m. Sunday, Al-Ahsa Governorate Police received a call from a citizen that a security man sustained a gunshot wound in the head. Preliminary investigations show that it is a case of death from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, the spokesman said.
