A higher secondary student is being investigated by the Al-Ola Governorate police for hijacking a school bus with 20 female students inside. Ahmad Bin Hussain, Governor of Al-Ola, said investigation result will be announced later. The incident happened when male students from a village in Al-Ola blocked the road during a fight. The police intervened to stop the fight. At that time the school bus with female students on board arrived at the scene. The driver parked the bus and got off asking the police and fighters to make way for the bus. Exploiting the confusion and commotion, one of the fighters took hold of the bus steering and drove off amid screams of female students. A few hours later, the hijacker said that he would stop the bus at a remote area to avoid being caught by the police. He did so and fled with some friends who were waiting for him in a car. However, the police caught the perpetrator and put him in prison. __
