Three teenagers are being questioned after they entered two girls' schools on Tuesday and threatened the principals if “all the pupils don't pass their exams”. Al-Watan Arabic daily reported Wednesday that the three first caused a commotion at a secondary school in Al-Abqariya District here when they were spotted in the precincts of the facility, but disappeared by the time the headmistress had called in police and the Commission for Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice. The same trio was then spied jumping on top of a car and climbing the wall of a nearby girls' school where, according to Al-Watan, they made their way toward teachers and threatened to harm them if any pupils failed their examinations. Again, the three ran off before authorities arrived. Police said that the teenagers then returned once more to the secondary school, climbing over the wall and reissuing their threats to the headmistress. This time, however, a guard at the site managed to note the license number of the vehicle in which they again made their escape, and police located them later in the day. Police said that the three are being held at a juvenile detention center in Dammam as they await investigation, while an education official said that the intruders were at no point able to approach pupils or staff.
