Najran Police are looking for 20 young men who were involved in a bloody fight with knives and clubs near a puncture repair shop in the center of Al-Faisalia District on Wednesday. Eyewitnesses said the youths, who were using knives and clubs in the fight, fled on the arrival of the security patrols. According to a security source, the police later took into custody four of the young men involved in the melee and the concerned authorities have started collecting information on the others who escaped. Police also kept the knives and clubs used in the fight. Saleh Ali Al-Dheebah, Spokesperson of Najran Health Department, said King Khalid Hospital received three brothers aged between 18 and 25 who were injured in the fight. The two older brothers suffered bruises on the chest and abdomen. Both received treatment and were handed over to the police. The youngest brother is still under observation in the hospital. An eyewitness, Yusuf Al-Maqboul, gave details of the fight. He said he was driving his car when a crowd of young men attracted his attention. He stopped his car and got out to see what was going on, but was surprised when several of those involved in the fight rushed toward him, took his car, and sped away with it. He chased them on foot, but was unable to stop them from hijacking his car. Al-Maqboul said a security patrol succeeded in blocking the vehicle's way forcing the hijackers to veer off the road and crash into the wall of a house. The security men managed to arrest the hijackers and take them to Al-Faisalia Police Station. The eyewitness added that the arrested youths confirmed during investigations that they were not involved in the fight, although they admitted hijacking the car.
