King exempts fines for delay in firearms license renewal

The Ministry of Interior has announced that King Abdullah, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, has approved the exemption of fines for citizens who have been late in renewing the licenses of their firearms if they apply for license renewal prior to 24/06/1433AH, corresponding to 15/5/2012.
The Ministry has called on citizens to benefit from this exemption and to report to the concerned police authorities in their regions for the renewal of licenses for their firearms. It advised those who wish to renew their licenses to fill out the forms that can be obtained on the Ministry's website, www.moi.gov.
