A third teacher has died as a result of the tragic Bara'em Al-Watan School fire. Suzan Al-Khadi passed away one week after the unfortunate fire which claimed the lives of two other teachers and injured 56 female students. Health Affairs spokesman Dr. Sami Badawood officially announced the death of Suzan Al-Khaldi. “I exerted a lot of efforts trying to save Suzan. She sustained severe injuries and contusions in addition to fractures in the neck and spine, brain injury, and severe damage to her lungs because of inhaling carbon dioxide.” Suzan was receiving expert care at the ICU of King Abdul Aziz Hospital in Jeddah. The Minister of Health Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabea ordered specialists from King Fahd General Hospital, King Abdul Aziz University Hospital and the Specialist Hospital in Jeddah to treat her. All specialists said that Suzan was getting excellent treatment but sadly her injuries were too severe for her life to be saved. Suzan joins two other teachers Ghadeer Katou'a and Reem Al-Nahari who died in the fire last week. __
