The Ministry of Health launched the second stage of the national vaccination campaign against measles, German measles and mumps by deploying its field teams Saturday. The second stage campaign will target all male and female students of all the civil and military colleges, children nine months old up to pre-school age and all people aged between 19 and 24 outside colleges and universities. The Ministry of Health teams will visit colleges, universities and homes to vaccinate the categories of people targeted in this campaign. The first stage of the campaign targeted students of government and private schools as well as schools belonging to communities, embassies and the military. In tandem with the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Health launched the first stage on Sept. 18 (Shawwal 19) and it continued for five weeks. The first week was allocated for awareness activities and acquainting people with the campaign's objectives, while the remaining four weeks were for vaccination. __
