The Presidency of Meteorology and Environment (PME) expects cold weather Thursday night over the eastern and central parts of the Kingdom, with extreme cold predicted for the northern parts including Hail region. It also expects eastern winds to continue to affect the western parts of the Kingdom by kicking up dust and resulting in poor visibility in Makkah and Madina regions, particularly the expressways and open areas. Meanwhile, cumulus clouds will appear over the southern highlands in the afternoon extending to the highlands of Makkah region. Humidity is expected to increase during the late night hours and early morning with chances of fog over the southwestern and western highlands.
