The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Endowment, Call and Guidance has received a record number of queries from pilgrims through its toll-free number focusing on the rules and obligations of the Haj rituals. According to Sheikh Talal Bin Ahmad Al-Oqail, Adviser to the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, pilgrims posed a record number of questions and most of them centered on the rules of the Haj. He said the ministry has made the best use of its modern telecommunication system to reach a record number of pilgrims. The ministry's toll-free number is 8002451000. He said the great demand for information has led to the ministry increasing the number of scholars, who answer pilgrims' queries round the clock. The scholars take questions in 10 languages.
