AlHijjah 1, 1432, Oct 28, 2011, SPA -- Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Call and Guidance of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has allocated a toll-free phone number for pilgrims seeking assistance during Hajj, Umrah (minor Hajj), and visit to Muslims most sacred places in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, it was reported here today. Sheikh Talal Al-Aqeel, Advisor to the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Call and Guidance said the duty-free phone number 8002488888 was allocated to provide answers in eight international languages to those seeking assistance to perform the rituals successfully. The newly-operated telephone service successfully receives 90 calls at one time, he said. He added that another number 8002451000 was allocated for free calls seeking services. It was designed to receive 300 calls simultaneously, he concluded.
