A Saudi man convicted of murdering his own grandmother was beheaded on Monday in Madina, the Interior Ministry said. Bandar Al-Louhaibi broke into his grandmother's home with intent to steal, but when she tried to stop him he stabbed her repeatedly, the ministry said in a statement. Monday's execution came three days after eight Bangladeshis and two Saudis were executed in Riyadh and Tabuk respectively. Rape, murder, apostasy, armed robbery and drug trafficking are all punishable by death in the Kingdom which is governed by the Shariah law.
