RIYADH: A Saudi national was beheaded in the northern border town of Arar Thursday. Naji Bin Aref Bin Saab Al-Shumari was convicted after a court found him guilty of murdering a compatriot, the Interior Ministry said. The beheaded man was guilty of killing Khaled Bin Mutred Bin Khalaf Al-Shumari by stabbing him to death over a family feud, said a ministry statement carried by Saudi Press Agency. Rape, murder, apostasy, armed robbery and drug trafficking are all punishable by death under the Kingdom's strict interpretation of Islamic Shariah law. – Agence France
