Okaz/Saudi Gazette BALJURASHI & ABHA – Heavy rain lashed Abha and its outskirts as well as Khamis Mushayt Governorate and nearby villages on Thursday. No single driver was stuck on a road or a village because of the rain, according to the emergency unit of the Civil Defense. Civil Defense in Asir region has asked drivers to stay vigilant and take precautionary measures on the road and not go to steep villages during the flow of rainwater down high mountains, especially the villages of Aqabat Dhal area, which sees a heavy traffic activity. In its weather report, the Presidency of Meteorology and Environment (PME) expected that suspended dust particles will continue to accumulate and there is a good chance of rainfall on Asir region's heights over the next few days. __
