Eight road projects are under implementation in the Eastern Province, Mohammed Bin Khalid Al-Suwaiket, Assistant Deputy Minister of Transport for Technical Affairs and the General Supervisor of the General Directorate of Roads and Transport in the Eastern Province, said here Wednesday. The remaining work on these projects range between 30 to 100 percent, he said. But the official added that all the projects would be completely ready by the end of this year. Al-Suwaiket was speaking at the monthly meeting of the Eastern Province's Chamber of Commerce and Industry held here Tuesday. These projects are Dammam-Khobar Coastal Road; Dual-Carriageway of Abu Maan Umm Al-Sahak and Al-Hafouf; Al-Oqair and Al-Qatif; Al-Awamiyah-Safavi extension to Dhahran; Al-Oqair-Salwa, Dual-Carriageway Phase One of Hafr Al-Batin; Al-Raqaee; a linking road of Half Moon Bay and the completion of Thaj-Fadhli Road.
