Saudi Arabia's foreign policy is based on everlasting geographical, historical, religious, economic, security and political principles and facts. It is shaped within major frameworks, among the most important of which are good-neighborliness and non-interference in the internal affairs of other countries. It strives to strengthen relations with the Gulf, Arab and Islamic countries with which it shares common interests. It also advocates issues, adopt nonalignment policy, establish cooperation with friendly countries and play an effective role in the international and regional organizations. Since the foundation of the Kingdom by King Abdul Aziz and his sons who succeeded him — King Saud, King Faisal, King Khaled, King Fahd (May Allah rest their souls in peace) and King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Kingdom's political discourse is distinguished by rationality, farsightedness and analyzing international events thoroughly and carefully without indulging in bickering and marginal battles, a matter that has earned great respect and credibility for the Kingdom, both regionally and internationally. Since international relations are gauged by the importance and reputable position of the state, we can easily notice that the Kingdom's relations with the US are based on mutual respect and connected to common interests, especially at the commercial, scientific and economic partnership. The value of these relations is evidently seen in the significant role being played by the Kingdom and the US in achieving global peace and justice and subsequently strengthening security and stability in the Middle East and the entire world which is experiencing chaotic situation with no radical solution to its chronic problems in sight. Hence, comes the Kingdom's role which advocates the importance of enhancing the value of dialogue and peace in order to consolidate the values of justice and equality on our planet. It is high time that justice and wisdom prevail in the troubled world. __
