The Presidency of Meteorology and Environment (PME) expects active surface winds all day Wednesday between Makkah and Madina, affecting visibility on highways and open areas. Visibility will also be affected in the central and eastern parts of the country because of dust in the atmosphere, it said. The PME's Analysis and Forecast Administration said cumulus thunder rain clouds may form in the afternoon in the high south-eastern areas including Jizan, Asir, Al-Baha and Taif. The clouds may be accompanied by surface winds. Clouds may also form over Makkah region including Jeddah and its surrounding areas. There will be meter to meter-and-a-half high waves on the Red Sea, with the possibility of two meters in the southern area. Sea waves are expected be one to 1.5 meters high. For the Arabian Gulf the wave height is expected to be a meter-and-a-half. Minimum and maximum temperatures on Wednesday are likely to be as follows: Makkah 32 to 42, Madina 31 to 44, Riyadh 27 to 44, Dammam 29 to 46, Jeddah 28 to 39 and Abha 17 to 30.
