XI won the finals of Prince Faisal Cup Cricket Tournament 2011 here recently. In the Division-I final Pak Crescent beat Saudi-XI by six wickets. Opting to bat first Saudi-XI scored 158-6. Kamran scored 57 and Afzal 43 runs. Saleem, Nadeem, Kamran and Sarfaraz took a wicket apiece. In reply Pak Crescent kept its nerves and reached the target in 17.2 overs for the loss of four wickets. Man of the Match Sarfraz played a captain's innings of 66 not out, while Nadeem remained unbeaten on 42. Khurram, Nadeem and Afzal took a wicket each for Saudi-XI. In the Division-II final Kabbani-XI beat Young fighters by 16 runs. Put into bat Kabbani scored 168 runs with Amjad scoring 42 runs and opener Ehsaan hitting 33. Zia and Qasim took two wickets each. In reply Young fighters was bowled out for 153 runs in 19.3 overs. Muzammil scored 40 runs, while captain Naveed was run out after making 37 runs. Mushtaq bowled beautifully to claim two wickets. Ehsaan was declared the man of the match. Earlier in Division-II semifinals Kabbani-XI beat Pak Green by 97 runs. (Scores: Kabbani-XI 236; Pak Green 139-7.) In the second semiinal Young Fighter beat Kashmir-XI by four wickets. (Scores: Kashmir-XI 175-5; Young fighters 176-6 in 17 overs) Murali Dasan, Rizwan, Ali Cheema, Rafaqat and Shankar officiated the matches, while Seneka did the scoring.
