Several displaced families are expected to be back in the border villages by Friday. It is expected that streets in these villages will again be adorned with scenes of children playing happily, the way it was before hapless citizens had to vacate their ancestral homes owing to clashes with infiltrators. Prince Muhammad Bin Nasser, Emir of Jizan Region, issued directives over a month ago to prepare 122 villages in Al-Harth Governorate and Al-Qufl Center, located outside the border belt, and to provide them with all the necessary services for the return of the residents. Accordingly, concerened government authorities have cleaned the villages and reconnected electricity. The closed roads were reopened to allow the citizens to clean their homes before bringing in their families. Prince Muhammad made an inspection tour of the villages on Tuesday to check on the preparations and services. Okaz/Saudi Gazette followed the preparations of the citizens, for many of the families have packed their belongings ready to return after an absence of over two years. Happiness could be seen on the faces of the young and old, but the latter are overwhelmed with happiness and are raising their hands in prayer and supplication to Allah to protect the nation under the wise leadership of King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Crown Prince, and the Second Deputy Premier. They also expressed thanks to Prince Muhammad and all the personnel of the armed forces and security authorities who contributed in evicting the infiltrators from their villages. __
