Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdulaziz Bin Abdullah Aal Al-Sheikh believes that students going on foreign scholarships should undergo a course on how to deal with others before their departure from the Kingdom. In a speech addressed to Taif University students, as part of an open discussion Saturday, Aal Al-Sheikh said the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques has spent millions of riyals building universities, institutes, colleges and schools, and sent students on foreign scholarships. The government, he said, has played its role and “now we have no excuse. We have to help it and not abandon our responsibilities”. He called on students to make an effort and not be lazy. “We have to represent the Kingdom in the best possible way. The Kingdom wants for more and more from us, and for students (on scholarships) to return with knowledge that will benefit the country and its people.” He said there are no grounds for corruption and chaos in the Kingdom and “we won't allow a criminal, a corrupt person or an infiltrator (like some Yemenis who infiltrated the country at its southern borders) to destabilize our security”. He said the Senior Ulema's Ifta website has received a huge number of visits. He said the site will soon include all edicts issued by the Board of Senior Ulema for the benefit of all Muslims. __
