Armed Forces and military sectors manning the southern borders Friday got a pat on the back as Sheikh Abdulaziz Bin Abdullah Bin Mohammed Aal Al-Sheikh, the Grand Mufti of the Kingdom and Chairman of the Council of Senior Ulema (Islamic scholars) and Department of Scientific Research and Religious Edicts (IFTA), lauded their patience and courage in fighting their enemies. ‘Mujahedeen Brothers, I salute your courage and patience, and congratulate you on your Jihad for the sake of Allah. You are facing a corrupt and astray enemy of deviant thoughts,” the Grand Mufti said in his address. “Such an enemy has abandoned the noble ethics that preserve the rights of neighbors, and has sought sedition and aggression against human lives and properties. Therefore, be guarded and patient, and know that Allah is with the patient,” the Grand Mufti added. Aal Al-Sheikh told active members of the Armed Forces that their actions were the best and greatest forms of worship. “These are the highest deeds of Islam,” the Grand Mufti said. He also reminded these units defending the borders of certain Islamic commandments: First: Fearing Allah publicly and privately, keeping away from sin, and fully performing duties. Second: Devoting oneself to Allah Almighty. Third: Maintaining confidence in Allah Almighty. Fourth: Having courage in battle and never fleeing the field. Fifth: Obeying commanders without hesitation. Sixth: Keeping war matters confidential. Seventh: Wounded and martyred personnel should commit themselves to the reward of Allah Almighty. Finally, the Grand Mufti prayed to Allah Almighty to bestow victory on the Kingdom's army and to protect the country's territory.
