A huge fire completely gutted the Alesayi Plaza on Madina Road here, Saturday evening. Alesayi Plaza houses more than 60 companies including that of consumer electronics maker Panasonic. The cause of the fire was not known till the time of going to the press, but an hour before midnight, firefighters were still battling the blaze. The road was closed to the traffic till about midnight and details available on casualties were still sketchy.
