A massive fire gutted a 1,200 sq. meter Ramadan festival tent still under construction in the capital Tuesday. A Civil Defense spokesman said that firefighters managed to contain the blaze before it spread to neighboring areas, and no casualties were reported. The cause of the fire remains unknown, but the spokesman noted that the facility had not opened in time for the beginning of Ramadan due to safety concerns.
